Virginia born and New Jersey raised, Chasi began traveling alone at age seven to spend summers and holidays with her father in San Juan, Puerto Rico while spending the rest of the year in Princeton, New Jersey with her mother. This early solo travel and dual upbringing may have planted the seeds for Chasi's need to see the world, to experience other cultures, and her desire for adventure. It certainly was the foundation for the things she most loves to photograph - from dancers, to travel, to abandoned buildings, and above all things, people.
Chasi's photographs have been published in the New York Times, WNYC, Time Out New York, The Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Weekly, Playbill, El Diario, The Village Voice, Backstage, Theatermania, Broadway World, The Brooklyn Rail and on Yahoo! among other print and online publications. Client list includes: Lincoln Center Theater, the Nonprofit Finance Fund, Three, Wolfson Children's Hospital, HBO, YMCA of Greater NY, NYU, Warner Bros. Pictures, Goya, Latino Justice PRLDF, CO Action PR, Le Creuset, Creative Communications Consultants, Women's Project, Cherry Lane Theatre, Siti Company, Little Kids Rock, Harmony for Peace Foundation, haystack needle and LSA Family Health.
