about

Virginia born and New Jersey raised, Chasi began traveling alone at age seven to spend summers and holidays with her father in San Juan, Puerto Rico while spending the rest of the year in Princeton, New Jersey with her mother. This early solo travel and dual upbringing may have planted the seeds for Chasi's need to see the world, to experience other cultures, and her desire for adventure. It certainly was the foundation for the things she most loves to photograph - from dancers, to travel, to abandoned buildings, and above all things, people.
Chasi's photographs have been published in the New York Times, WNYC, Time Out New York, El Diario, The Hollywood Reporter, Brownstoner and on Yahoo! in addition to a number of group show gallery exhibitions. Additional clients include: Lincoln Center, the Nonprofit Finance Fund, Three, Wolfson Children's Hospital, HBO, YMCA of Greater NY, NYU, Goya, Latino Justice, Creative Communications Consultants, Little Kids Rock, Siti Company, Women's Project, Harmony for Peace Foundation, Little Sisters of the Assumption, Dig Communications, Product of the Year, and Salseek.
